The RE:NEW Gathering on April 4 is expected to host thousands of people for a special night of inspiration, prayer, worship, and unity as more than 220 local churches prepare for a powerful season of outreach and service.
Submissions are now being accepted for the Houston Gospel Music Coalition Music Video and Film Festival. Faith-based, inspirational film and music video makers can vie for a chance to have their works screened and be eligible for cash and awards, in our 2019 film festival. Entries opened March 4, through Film Freeway and will remain open until October 1, 2019.
In partnership with the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) and Nielsen Research, Kerux Group is hosting a set of Hispanic-focused events at Proclaim 19, NRB’s International Christian Media Convention. The events are designed to empower Christian media, fundraising, and marketing leaders with the latest trends and tactics to activate Hispanic support. This is the first time Proclaim has offered multiple sessions specializing in Hispanics, an audience that’s growing in size, influence, and affinity with faith-based causes.
The World Council of Churches (WCC) is inviting the public, media, and all people of goodwill to join in a Midday Prayer on 20 March. Prayers will focus on grieving family, friends and colleagues who lost loved ones from UN agencies, the WCC and other organizations who perished in the Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 crash on 10 March.
HISTORY’s eight-episode event “Jesus: His Life” explores the story of Jesus Christ through a unique lens: the people in his life who were closest to him. Each of the eight chapters is told from the perspective of different biblical figures, all of whom played a pivotal role in Jesus’ life including Joseph, John the Baptist, Mary Mother of Jesus, Caiaphas, Judas Iscariot, Pontius Pilate, Mary Magdalene and Peter.
Nominations continue to come in from all over the country for the Longest Married Couple Project sponsored by Worldwide Marriage Encounter (WWME), the original faith-based marriage enrichment program in this country. The project honors one national winner and winners from each of the 50 states and U.S. territories.
