Pathway to Open New Store Concept in Cleveland

Cleveland, TN–The former Pathway Bookstore is introducing a new concept in retail and will open a new store in a different location on August 29. A soft opening and community preview was held this week for the newly-reinvented Pathway.

USA Missions Announces Jail and Prison Ministry Pastors and Workers Conference

Church of God USA Missions has announced its 2015 biennial Jail and Prison Ministries Pastors and Workers Conference to be held at the Church of God International Offices chapel, October 22-23, 2015. Beginning on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. and concluding after the Friday night service, the conference will provide both information and inspiration to the delegates who attend.

Latino Educators Hold International Summit

More than 600 Latino educators, local church leaders, administrative bishops, and pastors gathered in Tampa, Fla., August 6 and 7 to celebrate “FIEL,” the International Fellowship of Educators and Leaders of the Church of God. Although FIEL has met in the United States in an earlier year, this was the first joint meeting of the international delegates with the U.S. pastors and educational leadership of the church. The broader gathering drew praise from all who took part in it.

General Council Agenda Items Notification Deadline Released

In anticipation of the 2016 International General Assembly of the Church of God, notification has been given to communicate the process for the submission of items for consideration and possible placement on the International General Council Agenda.

“Potential agenda items are to be sent to the International Executive Council in order to be considered for the International General Council Agenda,” stated David Ray, chairman of the General Assembly Cabinet. “The International Executive Council is charged by the Bylaws of the Church of God with the responsibility of setting the agenda for the International General Council.”

Operation Compassion Helps Educate Children
