Pioneer missionaries tramped through enemy territory, literally faced off with demons, and endured hardships almost unheard of in today’s society. But there was something in them … the fires of evangelism … that caused them to press onward and be victorious, no matter the cost.
Church of God representatives in Nepal recently expressed their gratitude to Church of God World Missions Director Dr. Timothy Hill, Assistant Director Dr. John Childers, and Field Director Ken Anderson for their prayerful support and financial initiative for humanitarian relief funds after the incomparable earthquake (7.8 Richter scale) that took place on April 25, as well as the aftershocks that continued.
Individuals and churches have gone above and beyond in opening their hearts and hands to the people of this small nation. Donations have exceeded expectation.
For the third time, Church of God Teen Talent will be conducted on the campus of Lee University where thousands of teens, their youth leaders, and parents will converge to celebrate God’s gifts to young people.

Realizing this, the Church of God continues to challenge them to reach their greatest potential through Teen Talent for ministry effectiveness and Kingdom work. Our theme continues to Our Best His Glory.”
The all-female planning committee for the USA Missions-sponsored Women in Ministry Conference has chosen the theme, “Affirming ONE another,” in keeping with the conference mission statement, and the biennial theme of General Overseer Mark L. Williams.
The conference is scheduled for August 20-22, 2015 at the North Cleveland Church of God (Dixon Chapel), and will feature two nights and two half days of inspiration, information, worship, and interaction for women who are engaged in any aspect of ministry—pastors, pastor’s wives, Christian education ministers, music ministers, counselors, youth and children’s ministers, and others.
Earlier this year Church of God Communications released a new downloadable “app” for smartphones which offers several innovative features for churches, pastors, and laypersons.
