One of the longest running religious radio programs in the country will bring its broadcast to a close at the end of the year. “The Calvary Hour,” hosted by Bill Detweiler, will air its final broadcast on Sunday, December 30, 2007, after 71 years of broadcasting.
Lawyers for Illinois Attorney General, Lisa Madigan and Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White, will appear before a three-Judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals this morning at 9 a.m. to urge that a lower court ruling that Illinois begin producing “Choose Life” specialty license plates be overturned.
