Cleveland, TN–Lee University has received approval from the Tennessee Board of Nursing to proceed with its plans to begin a bachelor of science in nursing degree program. The decision allows students to be admitted to the new program this fall.
It has been a long time since I’ve included a commentary on Mission Network News, but today I’m doing it. The topic isn’t pretty. It’s divisive. It’s hurtful. It’s not what Christians should be doing. And yet because of our humanness, Christians fall into the same everyday political discourse that everyone else is facing today. The Ukraine/Russia conflict is causing a serious division among Christian believers in and out of Russia and Ukraine.

On a breezy March afternoon in Fresno, California, two fifth graders were navigating the wind with their dime store kites which were gracefully equipped with homemade tails for balance and “accuracy.” I was one of those “aeronautic experts.” The other was my school chum, Larry. Like newly rich millionaires, we mowed through a stash of chocolate bars that filled our pockets.
