Update on Indian Ministries of North America (IMNA)

The following is a report from Johnny Hughes of Indian Ministries of North America, Inc.

We recently returned from Indian Neck, Virginia where we saw an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on a congregation at the tribal center. The Chief of the tribe, Anne Richardson, is Holy Ghost filled and we are partnering with them to reach the rest of the tribe with the fullness of the Gospel. Chief Anne is so fired up about IMNA, she has determined to be a national mouthpiece for the ministry. She is meeting with hundreds of tribal leaders from across the nation over the next couple months, and we need to be praying for God’s favor and that the Holy Spirit will move on these leaders.

The team left there and went to Cherokee, NC for a revival, which ended up getting extended, and what an amazing outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The Cherokee Church of God and the Yellowhill Baptist Church came together and the young people from the Baptist church received the outpouring. They were laying hands on the adults, even throughout the congregation, and people were falling out under the power of the Spirit. The Baptist youth are so fired up that they are planning to drive to Mississippi to participate in IMNA’s revival the week November 9-13 with 13 Indian Baptist churches on the Choctaw Reservation. They have invited Indian Ministries there for the first time to teach and minister on the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. God is on the move and the outpouring of the Holy Ghost on the Southeastern tribes has begun. Praise His name!

IMNA will be wrapping up the year with the Mississippi trip and then November 30 we leave for our annual Christmas Celebrations in Oklahoma and New Mexico. We are planning to serve approximately 1000 children and their families in these locations. We also be serving a group of homeless men and women, 1 or 2 senior centers and boarding schools. We will be distributing a lot of our supplies door-to-door throughout the communities. God is blessing and it looks like we may possibly be receiving 3 semi loads of product to distribute. Our budget to close out the year is $25,000 and we are believing God to come through beyond that and beyond what we could imagine. God is shaking the Native communities across America, especially in the Southeast, and IMNA is poised to be a frontrunner ministry to help facilitate a great end time revival. If you feel led to partner with IMNA to reach the Native American people you may contact our office at 423.479.3831. Contributions can be made through the Church of God World Missions: Project # 753-0073 or by mailing to IMNA, P.O. Box 3472, Cleveland, TN 37320.
