Carlos S. Moran, director of Church of God Hispanic Ministries, has announced that the digital English version of the Church of God leaders journal, ENGAGE, is now available in Spanish. ENGAGE (español) can now be viewed in Spanish at www.cogengage.com.
“More than 1,200 copies of ENGAGE in Spanish are distributed in the USA and Canada every quarter,” Moran stated. “Although, pastors from Latin America had received samples of ENGAGE from colleagues in the USA, whenever a request would come to send them samples of it, Hispanic Ministries could not fulfill it because of the difficulties involved in getting it mailed to them in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost. The need to have ENGAGE in Spanish has been met.”
As of April 9, 2012, the website is live and contains the current issue and archived samples. With this endeavor, all Spanish-speakers in the USA, Canada and at any point in the world where there is a connection to the internet will be able to peruse ENGAGE. “The user friendly site has many features that make reading the journal a very enjoyable experience. For example, flipping the pages is a breeze. One can also magnify the contents and share the articles via Facebook or Twitter or send them as an email.” Moran said.
The availability of ENGAGE in Spanish connects pastors in Latin America with their English-speaking counterparts in the USA and throughout the world.
Church of God General Overseer Dr. Raymond Culpepper states, “We are very excited about the release of this site that creates many new opportunities for pastors and leaders to stay connected as they read ENGAGE at any time and at any point in the world. It has been made available to anyone wanting to conduct research and increase their understanding of current topics. All over Latin America as well as the thousands of Church of God Spanish-speaking members in the USA and Canada will have this service made available to them without incurring any charges. “
