EAGLES DC-‘12 is a leadership training experience that combines lecture, history, training, discipleship, motivation, learning, site-seeing, experience, prayer, patriotism, the Word of God, and fun into five unforgettable days in Washington D.C.
For the third year, Church of God Youth and Discipleship is sponsoring the event for mature Christian adults ages 17-23 on June 30-July 5, 2012 in the nation’s capital.
“We are committed to successfully raising up the next generation of effective, Christian leaders,” stated Randall Parris YWEA/Leadership Development Coordinator for Youth and Discipleship. “We are convinced that, with the help of the Holy Spirit, the EAGLES leadership initiative is a huge step forward in our commitment to do so.”
This program exists to empower young adults to effectively communicate the truths of the Word to those in their sphere of influence using effective and transformational leadership practices. Additionally, EAGLES is in collaboration with the American Bible Society.
“We trust and expect the Lord to expose these advocates to new truths in His word that will be a catalyst for them into His will and the leadership opportunities in their future,” Parris stated. “ This program equips young men and women who are committed to Scriptural disciplines, to become confident, skilled and motivated to represent Christ in deed and truth, in order to transform their worlds.”
