Exciting FM Expansion in Kansas City
Bott Radio Network (BRN) launched a major new FM expansion on Wednesday, December 19 in Kansas City with the addition of 101.5 FM! This new signal at 101.5 FM now simulcasts AM 760 to the greater Kansas City area 24/7.
BRN began serving Kansas City more than 50 years ago and today broadcasts at AM 760 with one of Kansas City’s most powerful radio signals, reaching into 5 states during the day, and with reduced power at night. In 1994, BRN added 92.3 FM and later 88.9 FM, which feature different times for BRN’s broadcast programs. This new signal at 101.5 FM, which now simulcasts AM 760 twenty-four hours a day, is especially significant to listeners in Independence, Raytown and Lees Summit where the AM 760 signal is limited at night.
BRN President & CEO, Rich Bott, noted, “For over 50 years, Bott Radio Network has served families with Quality Bible Teaching, Christian News and Information. We are excited about expanding our Christian Broadcasting service in Kansas City to reach more people with the power of God’s Word. This new FM signal at 101.5 FM will help more people grow in their faith and apply their faith in their daily lives.”
Celebrating their 50th Anniversary in 2012, Bott Radio Network’s broadcast service stretches across the United States from California to Tennessee, with a focus on the heart of America. Broadcasting on 93 radio stations, BRN reaches into 15 states with a combined coverage of 50 million people. BRN also is heard nationwide on SkyAngel Channel 403, worldwide online at bottradionetwork.com and on mobile devices with free apps for iPhone, iPad and Android.
