A Move of the Holy Spirit in an MIP Seminar
Recently a testimony was received from Tommy Mitchell, the state Ministerial Internship Program (MIP)coordinator for the Heartland Region of the Church of God:
“I wanted to drop you a note and let you know about what happened in yesterday’s MIP seminar. We were finishing up the day, and one of my board members, Dr. Gerry Dupuis, was teaching on the Declaration of Faith, Article 9. He spoke about the fact that this article is what makes us Pentecostal, and what he said was good. It seemed that the longer he taught, the more anointed his words became. When it was time to close the lesson, he said, “Let’s just pray.” He had no sooner gotten these words out of his mouth before the Holy Spirit fell in the conference room at our new regional office where we were holding the session. For the next half hour, there was a sovereign move of the Holy Spirit with people falling to the floor speaking in tongues, a message and interpretation, and one young lady sang a beautiful song. It was a powerful punctuation to the entire day’s teaching.”
To God be the glory for this wonderful outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
