Robert Madu Speaker for MIP Commissioning Celebration
Robert Madu will be the Friday evening speaker at the Ministerial Internship Program (MIP) Commissioning Celebration on May 15 at 7:00 p.m. at the North Cleveland Church of God.
Second Assistant General Overseer J. David Stephens says, “Robert Madu presents the gospel in such a unique and dynamic way that you’re leaning in, holding on to every word that is spoken, as he paints the beauty of the transforming, powerful, life-giving Word of God.” In addition to Madu’s itinerate ministry, he serves on the teaching team at Trinity Church in Cedar Hill, Texas. For ten years, he has crisscrossed the globe, preaching the gospel and taking every opportunity to tell people about the love of Christ. Robert Madu is compelled to awaken every individual to the fact that God is for them and that He has a plan and purpose for every life.
MIP is a primary, time-tested ministry training tool in the Church of God which involves a one year process of training, study, and interning individuals who are called to preach the gospel. The MIP is administered by the Church of God Division of Education and employs an intricate network of “supervising pastors” who mentor the candidates until Commissioning weekend, which takes place this year on May 15-16.
