Las Vegas Christian TV Station Launches New Family Channel
Dale Davidson, President of Las Vegas Tonight TV and Dale Wynn Davidson Ministries, announced today at the National Association of Broadcasters annual convention in Las Vegas, NV, that The Family Channel is joining The Walk TV as “family friendly” television offerings now available via FREE TV in the Las Vegas market.
Davidson had been part-owner, President and General Manager of KEEN-TV in Las Vegas prior to selling the station and leaving his position following the transition to new ownership. His 10 year tenure at KEEN has uniquely positioned Davidson for his new venture, Davidson notes.
“I am so pleased to be able to once again offer 24/7 Christian television to Las Vegans,” Davidson said. “The station I’m operating now, KNBX-TV, channel 31.2, is a fulltime, local Christian television alternative in Las Vegas. Television viewers seeking quality, clean entertainment and inspiration will surely find that KNBX-TV, channel 31.2 will fit their needs.”
KNBX-TV carries The Walk TV network on channel 31.2. The network is also simulcast on channel 47.8 in the Las Vegas market and is available in several Las Vegas Strip hotels as well. Both channels are viewer and advertiser supported and operated by Las Vegas Tonight TV, a non-profit community service of Dale Wynn Davidson Ministries.
The Family Channel is a new addition to Las Vegas Tonight TV and features family friendly programming suitable for the entire family. Beginning this week, the new television channel is broadcasting as FREE TV over channel 31.5.
“I am so excited that we will be offering the kind of family television that has been lacking on the broadcast networks as well as cable TV,” Davidson exclaimed. “This is exactly the programming that viewers have been clamoring for,” he added.
Davidson also hosts and produces a one hour interview program, “Las Vegas Tonight,” that features revealing interviews of Christian entertainers, sports figures, community and political leaders, along with pastors and other ministry innovators in Las Vegas and around the world.
“Las Vegas Tonight” airs Saturday evenings at 8 pm Pacific / 11 pm Eastern on “The Walk TV” television network, which has more than 275 affiliates across the United States. The program now also airs three times daily on the Vegas Life TV Network, via Dream Satellite TV, in more than 10 million homes throughout Asia, including the Philippines, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Shanghai, Macau, Hong Kong and Beijing.
Davidson describes his ministry as one that exists to spread the Gospel around the world and to promote other ministries that are serving others, particularly in the Las Vegas metro area. His recently released book, “Las Vegas Tonight: From Sin City to Vegas Saints,” profiles ministry leaders and exemplary Christian servants who are serving Las Vegans in many ways. The 10 people covered in the book have all been guests on his “Las Vegas Tonight” television show.
Las Vegas Tonight TV and Dale Wynn Davidson Ministries are operating in newly-remodeled offices and studios at 2585 S. Jones Blvd. near the Las Vegas Strip.
