“Affirming ONE Another” Is Theme for Women in Ministry Conference

The all-female planning committee for the USA Missions-sponsored Women in Ministry Conference has chosen the theme, “Affirming ONE another,” in keeping with the conference mission statement, and the biennial theme of General Overseer Mark L. Williams.

The conference is scheduled for August 20-22, 2015 at the North Cleveland Church of God (Dixon Chapel), and will feature two nights and two half days of inspiration, information, worship, and interaction for women who are engaged in any aspect of ministry—pastors, pastor’s wives, Christian education ministers, music ministers, counselors, youth and children’s ministers, and others.

Keynote speakers for Thursday night, Friday night, and Saturday morning are National Evangelist Jacqui Smith, from Ooltewah, Tennessee; Pastor Blanca Luty Giron, from Corona, New York; and Pastor/Evangelist Jamie Massey, from Duluth, Georgia. Breakout sessions in English and Spanish will be conducted on Friday morning, led by Janice Hill and Persi Moran, respectively. The 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning session will feature an open forum with General Overseer Mark L. Williams, and First Lady Sandra Kay Williams.

WIM LOGO3Door prizes will be presented each day, and a special “Grand Prize” will be presented as the finale’ on Saturday morning. Conference hostesses will be the First Ladies of the Division of World Evangelization and USA Missions, Dorothy Sibley and Myrlene Cossey. The wives of the various directors in the Division of World Evangelization will assist them, and each International Executive Committee member’s wife will be represented on the program.

The preregistration price of $49 is good until August 1, after which the registration will be $59. Registration materials may be downloaded from the Internet at www.usamissions.com, where one can also register and pay online by credit card.
