One Day, One Million!

In the Latin American community, they are casting a monumental vision … Reach one million people in one day!

Bishop David Ramirez, Church of God director of Latin and Central America, Mexico, and Brazil, explains the One Day—One Million concept. On the last Saturday of October 2014, 10,000 churches in Latin America were asked to go into the streets and express God’s love in a practical way.

Approximately 4,000 responded and evangelized by providing street people haircuts, baths, food, physician care, dental work, and even cleaning in some areas. Each church used creative ways to help.

In the center of a mall where young people would gather on a Saturday and leave a large mess, the church people would go later and clean it up for the community. Another innovative action was to conduct concerts and outreaches in public places. A group of 500 in Costa Rica divided into smaller groups and targeted different venues by offering food, witnessing, and praying for individuals.

The One Day—One Million emphasis represents 20 nations of Latin and Central America, Mexico, and Brazil. The impact has grown to include some churches in the United States who want to adopt the program.

Bishop Ramirez extends to you an invitation to be a part of this evangelization program that is scheduled for October 24, 2015. With everyone’s participation, it is an easy effort to reach in One Day—One Million!
To God be the glory!
