Oldfield, Díaz Highlight Keynote Speakers at General Assembly
The International Executive Committee has announced the keynote speakers for the 76th International General Assembly (GA16), which will be held at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee on July 19-22, 2016.
GA16 officially begins on Tuesday morning July 19 with the drop of the gavel by General Overseer Mark Williams as he begins the first session of the General Council. Two more sessions will follow that day, including Tuesday evening.
The first general session of GA16 will take place on Wednesday, July 20 with featured speaker Rev. Tim Oldfield. On Thursday evening, July 21, Pastor Ana Ruth Díaz will deliver the message as the highlight of the traditional Missions Night service, which will include a World Missions emphasis and a Parade of Nations.
On Friday, July 22 the featured speaker will be the newly-elected General Overseer, who will officially take office earlier that day.
For more than three decades, Pastor Tim Oldfield has ministered throughout the United States and the world. He currently pastors the Potter’s House Church of God in Columbus, Ohio, and is host of the television program “Impact with Tim Oldfield.” Under his leadership, Potter’s House founded Destiny Village, a ministry that has built and runs orphanages in Haiti and India. Prior to his ministry at Potter’s House, Rev. Oldfield served as an at-large evangelist and state evangelism director for Southern Ohio. He currently serves as chairman of the board for Church of God World Missions.
Ana Ruth Díaz is the Founder and principal pastor of the Church of God Oasis of Love in Honduras, a church in constant growth in which more than 10,000 people gather each week. She began her ministry at the age of 20 and is well known for her passion and energy after more than 32 years working for the Kingdom of God. She is mother and mentor to many women and is an international speaker on leadership, church growth, and interior healer conferences. She is a graduate of the Biblical Institute of Puerto Rico, with a bachelor in Biblical Theology.
