Empowered21 Launches New Cabinet for Central and Eastern Europe
Kiev, Ukraine — Empowered21 (E21) announced the formation of a Cabinet for Central and Eastern Europe, through the coming together of key denominational and church fellowship leaders from around the region. The gathering in Kiev, Ukraine, brought together 22 delegates from nine countries, including Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Moldova, Poland, Russia, Ukraine and the United States.
“In the midst of a region torn by economic tension and political turmoil, we experienced great unity of vision and mission from ministry leaders with the historic beginning of the Empowered21 regional cabinet for central and Eastern Europe,” said Empowered21 Global Co-Chair and President William M. Wilson. “We look forward to seeing how God will use this new cabinet to share his power and presence with the next generation.”
At a time of unique tensions and opportunities, leaders voiced their heart for unity, compassion and healing for the Body of Christ. The Bishops, pastors and leaders of the region are very upbeat and ready to do a good work,” said E21 Central and Eastern Europe Cabinet Co-Chair and Founder and Senior Pastor of Victory Christian Church in Kiev, Ukraine Henry Madava. “This unity is going to bring a great harvest.”
“I believe that many more ministers within the region are going to join the movement of Empowered21, and that great things are ahead,” said E21 Central and Eastern Europe Cabinet Co-Chair and Head Bishop of the Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith Edward Grabovenko. “This was a strong beginning.”
These perceptions were affirmed unanimously by testimonies of all of those in attendance. The next cabinet meeting will take place during Empowered21’s London 2016, which will take place over Pentecost, may 11-13 2016. The meeting will feature the preaching of the word by some of the world’s foremost speakers: John Francis, Nicky Gumbel, Cindy Jacobs, Samuel Rodriguez Jr., Peter Wenz, Wilson and George Wood to name a few. One of the highlights of London 2016 will be the amazing worship led by Noel Robinson, Lou Fellingham, Nicky Brown and Rony Padilla. To register go to http://empowered21.com/london-2016/.
