Funeral Arrangements for Reverend John W. Hill
Rev. J.W. Hill, father of director of Church of God World Missions Tim Hill, passed away on Thursday, May 19, in Texas. The following arrangements have been announced by the family:
Visitation: Sunday, May 22, 2016, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Mount Olivet Chapel, 2301 North Sylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas, 76111. A second visitation will take place Monday, May 23, 2016 from1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the Lakeside Church of God, 9396 Confederate Park Road, in
Lakeside, Texas. The Monday visitation will be followed by the funeral at the Lakeside Church, located just west of Fort Worth.
Interment will take place immediately following the service at Greenwood Memorial Park – Live Oak, 3100 White Settlement Road in Fort Worth.
Brother Hill leaves behind his wife of 71 years, Mildred, five children: Cathy, Gayle, Johnny, Helen, and Timothy; ten (10) grandchildren, eight (8) great-grandchildren and two (2) great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in the honor of Reverend Hill to Missionary Children’s Educational Scholarship Fund through Church of God World Missions (www.cogwm.org).
