Publisher Sees Growth Leading Into 10th Anniversary
Lucid Books, a Partnership Book Publishing Company, has experienced tremendous growth in 2015 and 2016, nearly doubling its author acquisition, expanding its staff, and adding additional services.
The company currently has 21 authors lined up to publish in 2016, including notable pastors Jeff Wells of WoodsEdge Community Church in Spring, Texas, and Harvey Turner of Living Stones Church in Reno, Nevada. Wells released Breaking Free of OCD, his autobiographical account of his battle with obsessive-compulsive disorder, in May of 2016. Turner’s book, Friend of Sinners, unpacks the why, what, and how of evangelism, is set to be released in July of 2016.
“I’m thankful for the growth we’re experiencing at Lucid Books, which places us in a great position to partner with our current and new authors,” noted Casey Cease, CEO of Lucid Books. “We’ve expanded our team and the services we offer, and I am fully confident we are positioned well for a bright future.”
Alongside their standard publishing packages, Lucid Books has recently added a Sermon to Book service and strategic publishing services for business leaders. “Many of our authors are business owners, entrepreneurs, or pastors, and they’re busy. They want to publish a book so they can reach more people with their message, but they usually have very little time to sit down and write,” added Lucid Books Director of Writing and Editing Services, Laurie Waller. “We developed strategic services to come alongside these authors and help them get their book written.”
To help expand their ability to support authors in promoting their book and increasing their reach, Lucid Books brought on Jesse Wisnewski to serve as their VP of Marketing. Prior to joining Lucid, Jesse served on staff at B&H Publishing Group and Mars Hill Church in Seattle, Washington. “I’m thankful to be a part of the team at Lucid Books. The people, their work, and their publishing model are something I believe in and want to be a part of,” shared Jesse.
Lucid Books is a Partnership Publisher dedicated to partnering with authors to help them turn their ideas into books.
