‘Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast’ to be Held at Trump International Hotel
The “Trump International Hotel,” Presidential Ballroom is to be the venue for the Inauguration Day event known to as the “Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast,’ on January 20, 2017. The event host, Rev. Merrie Turner stated that she chose the site because of it’s favorable proximity of the Old Postal Pavilion to both the White House and the U.S. Capitol along the famous parade route of Pennsylvania Avenue and because it is an American Landmark.
The Congressional Bells housed in the tower will ring on Inauguration day. Asked who she thought may win the election, she said that “Life and Death has been set before the nation and that voters need to go to the polls and choose life or the nation may be in for a long wilderness experience. Government officials, military officers, church officials, business leaders and other people of faith have attended the nonpartisan, inter-denominational gathering since 1993 to pray for the ‘Office of the Presidency’ and believe God for a spiritual outpouring in the United States of America.
Both Presidential Candidates are being invited to the event as well as all of Congress and the Foreign Embassies. The theme is Psalm 33:12 “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD.” She plans to attend the Grand Opening of the Trump International Hotel in Washington DC tomorrow, October 26, 2016.
