USA/Canada Missions Announces REWIRE Conference
Cleveland, TN–Church of God USA/Canada Missions will be offering REWIRE, an encounter for those whose callings are either church planting or church revitalization, on May 8-9, 2017 on the campus of the North Cleveland Church of God.
Under the leadership of Mitchell Maloney, director of USA/Canada Missions, the two-day REWIRE event will be more than a conference, and gets underway at 1:00 p.m. on Monday afternoon, May 8. An opening general session will feature Dr. Mark Rutland, author of the best selling book Relaunch, which tells three compelling stories of ministries in decline that were dynamically revitalized under his leadership. Rutland is president of Global Servants, and the National Institute of Christian Leaders (NICL). Following Rutland’s message, this unique gathering will feature two specific tracks: Track 1, a Church Planting Boot Camp, and Track 2 on Church Revitalization. Track 1 workshop leaders will include such qualified church planters as Sean O’Neal, Michael Knight, Victor Artreche, Michael Reynolds, and Travis Johnson. In Track 2, leaders will include Luis Rodriguez, Jason Draugdill, Eli Bonilla, Ron Schubert, and Mitch Maloney—men who have each engaged themselves in successfully rewiring and revitalizing a local church.
The Monday night keynote speaker will be Church of God General Overseer Tim Hill, who will address the delegates within the context of the FINISH Commitment, which is his passionate call for the Church of God to escalate its efforts to finish the Great Commission of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:18-20).
On Tuesday afternoon delegates will hear from Ben Meyer, a trainer of church planters and coaches with the Multiplication Network. Meyer is currently involved in the hands-on training and development of more than 100 church planters and coaches in Mexico, including several from the Church of God. REWIRE will conclude at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Early registration cost for REWIRE is only $49 per person, and a spouse may register for an additional $25. After April 26, the registration increases to $59 per person, and the spouse will receive a discount of $30. Register online at www.usamissions.com, or download the registration forms and mail them in with your check. The Church of God Hispanic Ministries Office will provide Spanish translation.
