SL2C Update: Prague
As one of the Church of God World Missions SEND THE LIGHT TO THE CITIES projects (SL2C), the capital of Prague is strategic, and considered one of the most developed economies in central Europe.
The nation of the Czech Republic enjoys several excellent Protestant theological training facilities. The key to growth for the Church of God is the development of Christian leadership.
In many countries, younger people frequently leave to work in other countries and the population of approximately 1.26 million in Prague is becoming an aged one; but, more immigrants are arriving and the need for a ministry center in Prague is paramount.
The City of Light Prague church facility and training center building has been purchased and currently the prep work has been completed by church members. Contractors are lined up the reconstruction. The final construction permit has been issued, and they anticipate the dedication to be held around Easter 2018. Located in Section Nine, Pastors Jerry and Ulli Lillard have more than 20 years invested into this ministry.
