Empowered21 Hosts Pentecost Sunday Global Broadcast
Tulsa, OK – Empowered21 (E21), a worldwide relational network of leaders across the Spirit-empowered church, will celebrate Pentecost Sunday in an exciting and unique way with a global broadcast on May 31, 2020. The event coincides with the E21 Global Congress Online that will feature over 70 world-renowned Spirit-empowered leaders in a virtual event over ten days beginning on Pentecost Sunday and continuing through June 10, 2020.
The Global Congress was supposed to be held in Jerusalem, but was moved online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Over 25,000 people representing 125 nations have already registered to take part in the virtual event.
“We know now more than ever believers need to be encouraged and equipped to make an impact during this unprecedented season,” said Dr. William M. Wilson, global co-chair of E21. “We are excited to host this celebration of Pentecost Sunday and believe the ten-day event that follows will encourage and empower believers around the globe and provide clarity from the Holy Spirit about what God is doing next.”
Pentecost Around the World will be hosted by Wilson and Global Co-Chair Dr. George Wood and include speakers from around the world including Wayne Hilsden in Israel, Russell Evans in Oceania, Niko Njotorahardjo in Asia, Nick Park in Europe, Philip Kitoto in Africa, César Castellanos in Latin America, and Jentezen Franklin in North America. Church of God General Overseer Tim Hill will be featured in a message during Session 10 on Day 5 on Friday June 5 at 9:00 p.m. CDT. The event will also feature worship from Gateway Worship, Lindy and The Circuit Riders, and Dunamis Worship.
