MISSIONFIELDUSA.com Launches New Web Site
On Saturday, November 7th, MISSIONFIELDUSA.com launched its new website. The stated goal of MISSIONFIELDUSA.com is to mobilize thousands of Christians to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to largely unreached places in the United States – primarily through short-term gospel excursions.
Over the past few years, MISSIONFIELDUSA.com has undertaken gospel excursions to dozens of cities and towns in New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Tennessee, Virginia, and Washington, DC. Plans are being finalized to reach under evangelized areas of Wisconsin, Texas, North Carolina, Maryland, Delaware, Oregon, California, Washington State, Vermont, Maine, and further outreaches to the Northeast.
Evangelistic excursions are usually deployed in teams of approximately 10 men — who can effectively reach between 25,000 and 40,000 people with the gospel in one week’s time. A typical outreach includes distribution of gospel tracts, gospels of John, and other literature, focused on one-one evangelism, preaching, praying with individuals, music, videos, and more. Excursions are “on the ground” outreaches to business districts, main streets, neighborhoods, train stations, bus stations, colleges, schools, parks, special events, tourist landmarks, parking lots, shopping centers, athletic events, and more.
The aim of MISSIONFIELDUSA.com is to deploy 300 teams at a time — which would reach 7 to 10 million people. One man who has been on four excursions said, “It is doable, if simply 3,000 men step forward to bring the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15).” There are millions of born-again believers in America. MISSIONFIELDUSA.com is confident that the Lord will raise up thousands to give up a week of their time to obediently proclaim the good news of His salvation day to day.
“This is an extraordinary time in our nation and the only answer is the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ,” said a spokesman for the mobilization effort. He added, “We have already conducted a number of life transforming excursions — impacting the lost, encouraging the saved, and edifying those bringing the message of truth to many unreached areas of our nation. Many, in tears, have told us, they now have hope.”
Those most impacted by these excursions are those who go — as the teams pray together, eat together, evangelize together, and work together for the sake of the gospel. Every person who has gone on an excursion is now “doing the work of an evangelist” in their home communities.
