European Theological Seminary: Training Future Leaders
Nestled in the mountains of Southwest Germany in the heart of the historic Black Forest, the Church of God’s European Theological Seminary (ETS) annually trains dozens of future church leaders from across Europe, the former Soviet countries, and the Middle East.
Led by President Stephen Darnell, who also serves as Field Director for Church of God World Missions in the same area, ETS’s student body represents more than 20 different nationalities and a dozen or more different languages.
With multiple academic majors available for bachelor-equivalent degrees and Masters’ degrees available in Biblical Studies and in counseling, ETS has degree programs available for most students. The undergraduate degrees can be completed in three years at ETS. The Masters’ degrees, offered in conjunction with Lee University, are accredited both in Europe and the United States. All classes are taught from a Biblical perspective with a goal of sending out men
and women to fulfill and complete the Great Commission.
Although located in Germany, instruction is in English. Online sessions of most classes will be available in 2021, allowing students from around the world to participate in ETS’s learning experience.
