‘Legacy 2021’ Missions Conference Set for June
Legacy 2021, a conference missions, Muslims, and the heart of God, is coming June 17-19 to Grandville, MI—or, for the first time ever, through online livestream. The conference will draw missionaries, church leaders, and Christians from around the world for a weekend of inspiring, practical training.
Christians today have unprecedented opportunities to reach Muslims with the gospel. More Muslims have accepted Christ in the last decade than in the entire history of Islam and countless Muslims are seeking the truth about God. Conflict in the Middle East has displaced millions of Muslims, and they are increasingly moving into our cities, neighborhoods, and workplaces. The Legacy conference celebrates how God is moving in the Muslim world while equipping the Church to finish her task in fulfilling the Great Commission.
Plenary speakers include Abdu Murray (Senior Vice President of Ravi Zacharias Ministries), Georges Houssney (founder and president of Horizons International), and Fred Farrokh (International trainer with Global Initiative:Reaching Muslim Peoples). Along with numerous breakout speakers, they will be covering topics such as God’s work among Muslim peoples, truth in a postmodern world, boldness in evangelism, women in Islam, discipleship of CMBs, and much more.
This year, Legacy is themed “Unashamed,” based on Romans 1:16: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel.” The diverse range of speakers, all of whom have dedicated their lives to ministry among to Muslims, have a passion for unashamed proclamation of the gospel. Attendees will come away inspired and equipped for fruitful ministry to Muslims, whether in an overseas missions context or in their neighborhood.
Legacy conference is for the first time offering an online attendance option, allowing missionaries stationed around the world or those unable to travel to receive the same training and encouragement. Legacy 2021 is also offering a discounted package for churches or study groups to host a livestream event of the conference.
