Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast 2021
National Harbor, on the Potomac River, with views of Mount Vernon and the District of Columbia will be the setting for the eighth Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast. It will be a virtual event being telecast on Wednesday January 20 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Hostess Rev. Merrie Turner stated that the event will reflect the 400th anniversary of the Landing of the Mayflower and the Mayflower Compact which established America’s first body Politic. The Pilgrims covenanted with God to propagate the Gospel of Jesus Christ, whose return is eminent. Psalm 33:12 “Blessed is the Nation Whose God is the Lord.”
The purpose of the virtual event is to bring Peace and Goodwill to the Nation and pray for the office of the presidency of the 46th President. Viewers can watch the live stream on internet at their website www.presidentialinauguralprayer.org. Rabbi Jonathan Cahn and Dr. Elizabeth Vaughan are among the special speakers. There is a suggested donation of $20.
The event had been scheduled to be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center but had to be rescheduled to sometime in April 2021, which is when the First Inauguration originally took place. Tickets are available through the website.
