World Missions Requests Prayer for Latin America
Dr. David M. Griffis, General Director of Church of God World Missions, was recently informed by Dr. Angel Marcial, Field Director for Latin America, of the devastating resurgence of COVID-19 throughout Latin America.
According to a post on the World Missions website, the Church of God lost nine pastors during the month of April in this region due to the deadly COVID-19 outbreak. Many pastors and pastors’ wives, as well as faithful parishioners are being infected. The nations of Cuba and Venezuela are especially suffering and the economies of many of these countries are devastated. Church of God World Missions is asking for two things:
First of all that, fervent, effectual prayer be made on behalf of these nations and these precious people who love God, and are our brothers and sisters in the family of God.
Secondly, please consider a compassionate financial gift to alleviate the humanitarian suffering and hunger that is being experienced. 100% of what you give will be used to bring relief to this humanitarian crisis. Please visit cogwm.org. The project# for Disaster Relief is: #765-0036.
