Empowered21 Announces Initiative at Dubai Summit
The vision at Empowered21 is “that every person on earth would have an authentic encounter with Jesus Christ through the power and presence of the Holy Spirit by Pentecost 2033.”
In support of that vision, Empowered21 leaders, while meeting at the Dubai E21 Global Leadership Summit, endorsed the launch of the EveryONE Initiative, a resource and funding effort to help fulfill the Great Commission by 2033, which is the 2000-year anniversary of the Crucifixion, the Resurrection and the Day of Pentecost as recorded in Acts chapter 2.
The EveryONE Initiative will include:
- Gathering evangelists and Great Commission focused ministries for equipping and empowering
- Establishing a resource pool to support efforts for reaching unreached people.
- Launching fresh Great Commission collaboration models in the E21 network and beyond
- Mobilizing new generations for Spirit-empowered evangelism
- Supporting, resourcing, and championing ministries that customize efforts within their constituencies to reach EveryONE.
Empowered21 and the E21 Global Evangelist Alliance will host a four-day gathering of evangelists and Great Commission focused ministries in Amsterdam, June 21-24, 2023. Amsterdam 2023 will bring together thousands of frontline ministries from every region of the world to collaborate on strategy for a decade of intense evangelistic effort leading up to 2033.
Dr. Billy Wilson, E21 global co-chair, described the vision of theEveryONE initiative. “We are thrilled to launch this initiative to resource and catalyze the Spirit-empowered church around the world toward fulfilling the Great Commission by 2033, giving every person on earth a chance to have an authentic encounter with Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Daniel Kolenda, E21 Global Evangelist Alliance co-chair, president and CEO of Christ For All Nations, said, “A new era of evangelism is coming to the church. We believe that Amsterdam 2023 will be a launchpad for a decade of unprecedented harvest all around the world.”
Terry Parkman, E21 NextGen co-chair shared, “As the E21 NextGen team, we are incredibly excited about the EveryOne initiative. We believe that we are on the precipice of a new wave of global evangelism that will be carried by members of the next generation. We know that, through this initiative, we will have the opportunity to help emerging leaders frame up their own personal strategy of evangelism, which will in turn mobilize the next generation globally. It is our humble opinion that this initiative is just the beginning, and that we will look at this, years down the road, as the place the Holy Spirit launched His plan to see everyone on earth come into relationship with Jesus Christ.”
