Jason Crabb to Highlight SMCH Benefit
Sevierville, TN—Jason Crabb, one of America’s foremost Christian recording artists, will be the featured guest at the Smoky Mountain Children’s Home (SMCH) Spring Benefit Dinner and Auction on Tuesday, April 26 at 6:00 pm. Crabb is recognized around the world as a Grammy and Dove nominee and winner. The event will be held at the state-of-the-art Sevierville Convention Center.
Tickets for the evening are $50 each, and a delicious meal will be served. Everyone is encouraged to purchase a table for their staff or employees at $400 for a table of eight. Contributions are appreciated!
“Several events have been postponed due to the pandemic,” noted Executive Director Dr. Walt Mauldin. “Past benefit banquets focused on a variety of needs to assist The Home.” Mauldin went on to state, “One of our critical needs is to provide adequate lighting throughout the campus. Large lantern-style lighting will be added to brighten a number of these darker areas. The lights cost $4,000 each. Our leadership has stated that we want to provide a lighted pathway around the campus.”
Individuals, churches and businesses are invited to provide new items that will be sold at a silent and public auction. State of Tennessee House of Representatives, Mr. Dale Carr, will be on hand to serve as the official auctioneer. Doors will open at 5:00 pm for guests to view the auction items.
Anyone interested in joining in the celebration event is asked to email an RSVP prior to Monday, April 18 to [email protected] or by calling the SMCH office: 865.453.4644 Ext. 118 to register.
