National Conference on Christian Apologetics Is this Weekend
A leading event that will bring together many of the nation’s best minds to address the most pressing cultural and religious issues of the day in the Christian apologetics community kicks off this weekend.
Southern Evangelical Seminary’s (SES, www.ses.edu) 28th National Conference on Christian Apologetics will be held April 8-9, 2022 at First Baptist Church Rock Hill in Rock Hill, SC. Thousands attend every year, and 2022 marks the 28th annual National Conference on Christian Apologetics (NCCA) with the theme of “Remaining Steadfast in an Upside-Down World.”

WHY: To provide Christians with the tools, knowledge, and motivation to defend their beliefs in a culture that is hostile toward Christianity.

The NCCA welcomes some of the nation’s top apologetics speakers, including Richard Howe, Hugh Ross, Frank Turek, J. Warner Wallace, as well as a debate between Brian Huffling (SES) and James Sterba (Notre Dame) titled “Is a Good God Logically Possible?” Sessions include “The False Gospel of Social Justice,” “Scriptural Womanhood in the Twenty-First Century,” “Answering Progressive Christianity,” and many more. A Thursday night pre-event titled “Engage and Equip – A Christian Conversation about Extraterrestrial Phenomena” will also address questions like life on other planets, space travel, and UFOs.
The mission of SES is to train men and women, based on the inerrant and infallible written Word of God, for the evangelization of the world and the defense of the historic Christian faith. SES offers a range of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees (along with several for-credit certificates) that uniquely integrate theology, philosophy, and apologetics to build a complete and systematic Christian worldview.
