Navigating Change Conference Begins Tomorrow
Waldorf, MD—Three nights and two days of resources, instruction, and challenge are in store for delegates attending the Navigating Change Conference, set to begin with an opening night service on Wednesday, May 8.
“Visionary Impartation for Maximum Impact” is the theme of the conference, sponsored by Church of God Intercultural Ministries, led by Director Dr. James S. McIntyre, Sr. The location is New Hope Church of God in Waldorf, Md.
Opening the conference on Wednesday will be Dr. R.C. Hugh Nelson, lead pastor of the Ebenezer Urban Ministries Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. Headlining Thursday, May 9 is Dr. Tony Stewart, second assistant general overseer and liaison to the Division of world Evangelization for the Church of God. Rounding out the keynote speakers for the conference will be Dr. Rae Casteel Orozco of Rae Orozco International Ministries, who will close out the conference on Friday night, May 10. Special musical guests on Friday will be Curtis and Charmaine Bridgeman. All evening services begin. At 7:00 pm EST.
During the morning on Thursday and Friday there will be numerous sessions of resourcing and testimonies addressing the theme of change in today’s culture and intentionally embracing cultures for change. Among the facilitators and panel speakers will be state/regional administrative bishops Derwood Perkins, Melvin Shuler, Stan Holder, Rick Whitter, Steve Smith, Kenneth Hill, Raymond Burch, and Toby Morgan.
