IM-PACT Conference Slated for Music Ministers, Musicians
Cleveland, TN—Westmore Church of God is coordinating IM-Pact, a conference designed to be an assembly of music pastors in all facets of ministry in the local church.
The three-day conference begins on February 27 and concludes on Saturday, March 1.
According to Rev. Steve Allen, music pastor at Westmore, IM-PACT is not just for music ministers, but includes lead pastors, and those who focus on children, youth, music/worship, creative arts, discipleship, and even church administrators and staff.
“The purpose of the conference is to gather for the common purpose to encourage, train, equip and fellowship, while lifting high the name of Jesus and expanding our growth in the various ways we lead His church,” Allen stated.
Featured guests include international leaders and renowned musicians who will offer a leadership experience to launch participants into a new season of ministry. Keynote and breakout session leaders include musicians and worship leaders David and Nicole Binion, Curtis and Charmaine Bridgeman, Renee Talley, and the Atlanta area-based Mt. Paran Central Choir led by Mark Blankenship and Chris Jenkins.
“With 35 different speakers, delegates can craft their own experience with our wide variety of breakout sessions and be encouraged while worshipping alongside one another in our keynote services,” Allen said. “In addition, each breakout session will be offered once and recorded, ensuring that conference attendees won’t miss a class.”
Sponsors of the conference include Global Worship Initiative / Spirit Sound. Lee University School of Music, Operation Compassion, and the Tennessee Church of God State Offices.
The conference fee of $75 includes all sessions, two meals, refreshments, and access to materials and resources. Several door prizes will also be offered such as a chance to win a three-night stay at Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast, FL, a two-night stay in the Smoky Mountains, and more!
