A Historic Gathering of Faith and Fellowship

Cleveland, TN–Earlier this month the North American Church of God (Indian) National Pastors Summit hosted a gathering of pastors and leaders from the Indian Church of God churches in the United States at the International Offices.

By all accounts, it was viewed as a historic day at the International Offices of the Church of God. For many of the pastors and leaders, this was their first time visiting the denominational headquarters.

This year, the NACOG Fellowship was led by Pastor Cecil Mathew from New York. The gathering was in collaboration with the Intercultural Ministry Department of the Church of God, led by Dr. Fijoy L. Johnson.

The two-day summit focused on strengthening bonds, sharing wisdom, and seeking God’s guidance together.

“The atmosphere was filled with a profound sense of reverence and anticipation,” Johnson stated. “Testimonies were shared, prayers were offered, and new partnerships were formed, bridging cultures while standing on the same foundation of faith.”
Johnson went on to describe, “In moments of worship, we experienced the powerful presence of the Holy Spirit, reminding us that God’s Church knows no borders.”

The gathering was regarded as a testament to God’s faithfulness and described by Mathew as, “a glimpse of the greater work He is doing globally. We stand in awe of what has begun, believing that this is just the first of many such gatherings where leaders will come together to equip, encourage, and expand the reach of the Gospel.”

The group was hosted by members of the Church of God Executive Committee who greeted the delegation and participated in sessions, including a powerful prayer service in the Global Prayer Center located on the International Offices campus.

Johnson concluded, “To God be the glory for the unity, vision, and Kingdom impact that will continue to unfold from this remarkable event!”
