Ministry in South America
The upcoming December missions trip is really beginning to come together. We already have about 15 people signed up for the trip, which will take place Dec 10-19, 2009. We are currently collecting the money for the children’s clothes, party and treat bags that we will be pulling together for the trip.
This trip is very special to me. I have wanted to do something for the children close to Christmas and this is my first time to be able to do that. We are going to feed them with pizza, ice cream, Cokes, cake and anything else that we can find. We are also going to take them to the store, four or five at a time, and buy them clothes.
The water well situation is coming to a conclusion. It looks like we will be using filters, not the homemade ones, but the ones we can buy. We can use these and put clean water into every village we minister in.
The filter we are looking at using is small enough to go in your pocket. We would also have to supply a bucket, in which we cut a hole into the side of and screw in the filter.
