The Campus Christian Connection at the University of Tennessee served the “World” a Thanksgiving Meal.
For the second year in a row the Church of God Campus Christian Connection was called upon to serve the International student community a traditional Thanksgiving meal at the University International House on Monday, November 23rd. Workers from three area Churches of God served 135 students representing 40 nations around the world. The majority of these students are new to the US and had never experienced a Thanksgiving feast. The evening was filled with fellowship, laughter and fun…but most of all the love of God shown in a very tangible way. International college students
face unique challenges on their campuses. Cultural integration, finance management on very limited incomes and the heavy pressures of graduate studies make campus life extremely stressful. They all need our support and prayers.
