Looking to the Future
As we look to the future, we will remember, “The most holy and necessary practice in our spiritual life is the presence of God.”
Food!
Recently an anonymous donor paid for four large trolleys (shopping carts) full of groceries to give to people we knew to be in need. On that Sunday morning as people gathered in the church to receive spiritual food, they found several large food baskets beautifully gift-wrapped. Individuals in the church took the baskets to pass on to families who were in need. What inexpressible joy to know that not only can we give spiritual food, but to those who are hungry, we can also give physical food.
Favor!
It has been a blessed year as it relates to ministry! In November God gave us favor and we were privileged to visit the U.S. to see our newest grandchild. Jackson Morris was born to Derek and Amber on October 1, 2009. We were thrilled to be at Jackson’s dedication at Westmore Church of God in Cleveland, Tennessee, on November 29, 2009.
Future!
During this past Christmas season, foremost in our minds is the very reason why we celebrate. As we look to the future, we will remember, “The most holy and necessary practice in our spiritual life is the presence of God.”
