Ecuador–We had forgotten what a difference a year has made in our kids. More than 1,000 meals have been served and more than 1,000 Bible lessons taught!
We have recently added more kids to the feeding program. Fifteen new children have arrived and they seem so much needier than the last group. The truth is we had forgotten what a difference a year has made in our kids. A year ago we had trouble getting through a meal without someone getting sick, and we are going through that again.
Our “original” children are much healthier than when they came. Some were unable to stay awake long enough to eat in the beginning. We are indebted to the Rio East church in Maryville, Tenn., for their monthly sponsorship and to the Darwin family of Ooltewah, Tenn., for the kitchen equipment. More than 1,000 meals have been served and more than 1,000 Bible lessons taught!
Thank you beloved friends. We are filled with joy every day when the children eat, grateful for being a small part of it and with pride that our people make it happen. You supply our salary and every bite of food that we eat comes directly from the hand of God to you and then to us. Thank you is a pitiful expression to tell you how much you mean to us.
This past month has seen incredible revival here in our churches. Reverend Buchanan of Rio East preached a great crusade and we followed it with a pastor’s celebration. I was invited to preach and, in spite of that, God moved tremendously. The Spirit of the Lord fell and ministered to our pastors with the theme of “HOLINESS TO THE LORD.” We had pastors weeping and repenting, along with young people coming forward to be saved. There were 800 in attendance, with almost all of them getting involved in the prayer. Thank the Lord! Revival has come to Pucallpa.
