FrontGate Media Named Best Faith-Based Web Site in 2011 Internet Advertising Competition Awards
Each year, the Web Marketing Association names the Best Website as part of the annual Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Awards. Now in its 9th year, the IAC Awards are the first and only industry-based advertising award competition dedicated exclusively to online advertising. The awards are named by a panel of industry judges who review the entered advertising using seven criteria: design, ease of use, copywriting, interactivity, use of technology, innovation and content.
For 2011, the IAC Crystal Statue for Best Faith-Based Website goes to FrontGate Media for the www.FrontGateMedia.com site which was designed by FrontGate Media founder and president Scott A. Shuford, and Kevin McNeese, founder and president of KMWeb Designs.
The site features seven key channels including Audiences, Services, Purpose, Resources, Affiliations, Case Studies, and Latest News. Extensive sub-channels provide Marketing Directors and Media Buyers with access to a wealth of information including audience targeting, extensive media kit information and pricing, services that include social media and merchandise development, extensive news and blog updates including the official archive for the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association, Philanthropic and Advisory Board affiliations and more.
FrontGate Media received the award alongside other best of industry brands to win 2011 Best Website including the Toyota Sponsafier Campaign created by Saatchi & Saatchi LA which won Best Automobile Website, the Bud United Campaign created by DDB Chicago/Tribal DDB Amsterdam which won Best Advertising Website, Gucci.com created by Critical Mass which won Best Fashion or Beauty Website, and the Hong Kong Disneyland Website, created by Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Online which won Best Leisure Website, and others.
“The International Advertising Competition’s Best Website Award is an exclusive annual award given to one and only one site which is the absolute best entry in their category. FrontGate Media’s work obviously impressed our panel of professional judges to achieve this honor, and ranks alongside other Best Website category winners as the top of their industry.” states William Rice, President of the Web Marketing Association.
“What a great honor as we celebrate our 10th Anniversary in 2011! We are very proud to receive this top IAC recognition from the Web Marketing Association,” states Scott A. Shuford. “It is very exciting to be able to focus the advertising industry’s attention on the faith-based market through this award.”
