Church of God student pastors and youth leaders gathered in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee for the annual National Youth Leader’s Conference. Many years ago the Church of God National Youth Leaders Association was founded to accomplish the following purposes:

We recently assisted a mother and her daughter in Tucson, Arizona, who requested our assistance when the daughter was told that she could no longer bring her Bible to school. The daughter had been bringing her Bible to school to read and to discuss with other students during her free time. Some students reported her to the teacher, who then spoke to the dean of students. Consequently, the daughter was told that she could no longer bring her Bible to school.

America was formed out of a great spiritual awakening that had been birthed in prayer, and the only thing that will save her is another great spiritual awakening birthed in prayer.

This year’s National Day of Prayer Honorary Chairman, Anne Graham Lotz, penned a prayer that calls on the Lord to forgive our sins and heal our land. Lotz is an evangelist, author and speaker, as well as founder and president of AnGeL Ministries in Raleigh, North Carolina. She is the daughter of Billy Graham, who, along with his son Franklin, has also served as honorary chairman of the National Day of Prayer.

On the National Day of Prayer Christians are re-dedicating the USA to God as they seek God’s favor for the USA to restore the economy and liberty. Rev. Steven Andrew is chairman of and leads the National Day of Prayer Revival Force. April 29, 2014–The Kimberly Church of God in Kimberly, Alabama was destroyed yesterday as a strong line of tornadoes ravaged much of the Southern United States.
