On August 6th, Joel Osteen presented a message of hope and God’s unfailing love from the heart of America, Chicago, Illinois. Millions of people around the world joined together to experience “America’s Night of Hope” at U.S. Cellular Field.
With solemn gestures, Americans across the country marked the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the Pentagon in Virginia, the World Trade Center in New York and the plane crash in Shanksville, Pa. and through 2,531 official Cry Out America (COA) prayer points during united, consecrated prayer gatherings in 1,450 counties across all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U. S. Virgin Islands.
New York City, N.Y.–A historic day of united, consecrated prayer will mark the 10-year anniversary of 9/11. Cry Out America (www.awakeningamerica.us) is reporting that they currently have over 2,400 official points of prayer confirmed for Sunday, 9/11, covering all 50 states including the US provinces of Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands, through the participation of over 1,500 churches and 900 interdenominational, public prayer events officially scheduled for this Sunday. Cry Out America events are scheduled for all 38 counties with populations over one million.

Rick Warren isn’t among the faith leaders who will head to Ground Zero in New York City to pray on 9/11.
Participants in a public prayer service will meet in front of St. Paul’s Chapel, 209 Broadway, at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 10, and walk over the Ground Zero. The group feels it is imperative to have a public prayer witness at Ground Zero seeking God during the 9/11 Memorial Weekend.
