Thousands to Converge in Chicago to Proclaim Sanctity of Human Life

The 2016 March for Life Chicago will draw a diverse crowd from across Illinois and the Midwest. On Sunday, January 17, 2016, people from varied ethnic, social, and religious backgrounds will come together on Chicago’s Federal Plaza to proclaim the sanctity of human life and call for an end to abortion as they march through the Loop beginning at 2 p.m. (Central).

Live Nativity Scheduled for Capitol Hill This Thursday

Washington, DC– For the fifth year in a row, a live baby will coo, a donkey will bray, and a camel will snort in front of the United States Supreme Court in Washington, DC. The event is the Live Nativity on Capitol Hill sponsored by Faith and Action, a Christian missionary outreach to top-level government officials. Live actors in elaborate costumes will portray Mary, Joseph and the Baby Jesus, as well as shepherds, townspeople, and a drummer boy. The live animals will accompany the group as they walk from the Faith and Action headquarters behind the Supreme Court, across Constitution and Maryland Avenues, to the front of the High Court and the East plaza of the U.S. Capitol, finally making their way back via East Capitol Street. Soloist Nathan Kistler of Hickory, North Carolina will lead classic Christmas carols.
