As our nation struggles with continued economic insecurity, the ongoing threat of terrorism, growing social unrest, and continual challenges to basic constitutional rights, citizens of the United States are preparing to exercise one of their most precious freedoms – the right to “turn to God in prayer and meditation at churches, in groups, and as individuals.” Following in the footsteps of our Nation’s Founders, who fought for religious freedom, millions will assemble at thousands of local National Day of Prayer events across the nation, where they will take time out of their daily schedules to intercede on behalf of their communities, their nation, and their leaders.
The 26th annual U.S. Capitol Bible Reading Marathon began at 6:00 PM on Sunday, May 3rd.
Azusafest 2015 was declared a great success and leaders on Azusa Street anticipate a global gathering next year of “TheCall Azusa” on April 9th, 2016. The widely acclaimed William J. Seymour Award was given to Lou Engle of “TheCall, Inc.” Lou Engle was the ninth recipient of the National William J. Seymour Award and is the visionary founder of TheCall, Inc.
The Awakening America Alliance recently hosted their bi-annual Leadership Summit in Atlanta, Georgia. The summits emphasize:

General Sessions introduced fresh ideas and inspired the group of key leaders with speakers from the arenas of denominational leadership, next-generation evangelism, faith-based media, and prayer ministry. Mark Burnett and Roma Downey, producers of A.D. The Bible Continues, and Ronnie Floyd, president of the Southern Baptist Convention joined the group via video conferencing.
“There’s a scarlet thread of redemption that the Lord weaves through our lives,” Doug Stringer shares. “Just as God has done throughout history, so it is true in our present day.”
