Youth and Discipleship Releases Teen Talent 2019 Manual

One of the most anticipated traditions within the Church of God is international competition for youth ages 13-19 called Teen Talent. A first element is the release of the official Teen Talent Manual and other materials, which detail the guidelines for participants and those who surround them throughout the process. The first Sunday of 2019, January 6, has been declared “Declaration of Faith Sunday” in the Church of God by General Overseer Timothy M. Hill.

Children’s Home Christmas Offering Is Annual Tradition

Sevierville, TN–The Smoky Mountain Children’s Home invites churches, businesses, organizations and individuals to participate in its annual Christmas offering. The Home always provides gifts to the 110 children in foster care, as well as the 60 youth living on campus.

Prayer Training to Take Place During Agree ‘19

Cleveland, TN–In conjunction with Agree 19, the January 7-9, 2019 prayer convocation at the International Offices, Church of God Prayer Ministries will host a Strategic Prayer Training, Tuesday, January 8 through Thursday, January 10, 2019. Administrative bishops, state prayer leaders and teams, key pastors and leaders who might help with some aspect of the prayer process are invited to attend. The meeting will also include the Unreached People Group (UPG) coalition.

Christ’s Birthday Offering Benefits Needy

Over the years, Church of God World Missions’ Christ Birthday Offering has provided shelter and restoration, medical intervention, nourishment, and support for people all over the globe who have faced crisis. Many time crises come swiftly and without warning, leaving a wake of devastation and pain for those in its path. That has certainly been the case in 2018.

This Little Light of Mine Teaches Children

This Little Light of Mine, World Missions children’s project, started in the heart of International World Missions Director David Griffis’ wife, Judy Griffis. In her many travels, she began to see children from all over the world in need. This created a desire to help these precious, forgotten ones, and also encourage children their age in the United States to get involved in missions and help, too.
