Church of God in the Caribbean Conducts Symposium

A symposium was held recently in San Juan, Puerto Rico, with the theme “Moving the Caribbean in the Right Direction.” Field Director for the Church of God in the Caribbean, Bishop Ishmael P. Charles, welcomed leaders from churches in all the regions to examine and reflect on matters to ensure charting a future path for the Caribbean.

Hispanic Region Signs Pledge to Plant 100 Churches

The USA Missions Department from the Church of God East Central Hispanic Region held an annual Conference called Siembra. The conference was celebrated on February 3-4, 2017 and more than 350 people gathered on Friday and Saturday at the Church of God International Worship Center in Cleveland, Tennessee.

New Churches Being Started Despite Conflict In Eastern Ukraine

As recently as June 2016, Church of God World Missions was made aware of the continuing conflict in war-torn Eastern Ukraine. Tom Rosson, regional superintendent/president CIS/ETS-Moscow, reported shelling continued to take place in towns and villages along the front. Mironovskly was littered with destroyed homes and apartment buildings, and the team had to go through multiple checkpoints and defense lines to even get on site. Deadly firefights consistently happened throughout the region.
