Cleveland, TN—The International Executive Council of the Church of God, meeting in session September 27-28, 2016 at the International Offices, received a report on the recent plea for disaster flood relief for churches and families in Louisiana.

September 30, 2016–Cleveland, TN—Completion of a five-year capital campaign that has seen the transformation of the south end of the Lee University campus, was the focus of a week-long set of activities that climaxed in a Friday morning service called “Celebration 2016.”

Cleveland, Tenn.–During the first day in session of the Church of God International Executive Council, the body elected Rev. Barry A. Clardy to serve as the 18th member of the Council of Eighteen.
Nearly 2,000 years ago, St. Thomas started a church in Erbil which is in modern day Iraq. Erbil is located about 55 miles east of Mosul and has a permanent population of about 1.5 million. Erbil is also the capital and largest city of the Kurdistan region of Iraq, a city that dates back to 6000 BC.
