Opening Address from International Executive Council to be Livestreamed

Cleveland, TN–The 2016-2018 edition of the Church of God International Executive Council will convene for the first time since the group was elected at the International General Assembly last July. The meeting is set to begin on Tuesday, September 27 at 9:00 a.m. and for the first time in the history of the Council meeting, the general overseer’s opening address will be streamed live on the Church of God website at www.churchofgod.org.

Outreach magazine, one of the most respected publications appealing to churches across the nation, has released their annual Outreach 100 Megachurch Report, featuring the country’s 100 fastest-growing churches. Cayman Islands Gets First National Overseer

The Church of God in the Cayman Islands, a British territory in the Caribbean situated south of Cuba, have a national overseer for the first time. Before this time, the Cayman Islands had been combined in the territory of the Overseer of Jamaica. Bishop Eitel Morris and his wife, Beverly Blair-Morris, were inaugurated on September 9, 2016, by Church of God World Missions Director David Griffis and Field Director Ishmael Charles.

World Missions Announces ‘Send the Light’ Project

Church of God Announces Global Planting Thrust

The Church of God has announced the launch of an initiative that will give the denomination’s church planting enterprise a new global thrust. Global Fire Advance, an international movement dedicated to recruiting, training, and deploying men and women to establish new congregations, will take the lessons learned during the past three years in the Firewall Africa Project and propel them onto the global stage.
