Discipleship Releases LifeBuilders Leadership Certification Manual

Church of God Men’s Discipleship Coordinator, David Gosnell announced today that the LifeBuilders Leadership Certification Manual (LLCM) is now available in English and in Spanish.

‘Go West’ Conference Scheduled for April 16-18

Ten Church of God state and regional offices are joining together for a multi-state conference entitled, “Go West,” on April 16-18, 2015 at Free Chapel Church of God, located in Irvine, California.

Jerusalem Archaeologist to Speak at Pentecostal Theological Seminary

Assaf Avraham, an internationally acclaimed archaeologist and director of the City of David – The New Jerusalem Walls National Park, will be presenting a lecture at the seminary entitled: “City of David: The Temple Mount, Dome of the Rock, and Archaeology.” Avraham has done extensive archaeological research at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, with attention given to the first and second Temple periods.

Church of God Chaplain Receives Regional Award

Clinical Chaplain Jose Cedillo, while serving as the Chair of the Hispanic Task Force of the Southwest Region Association of Clinical Pastoral Education (SWRACPE), provided the leadership for a new initiative which led to the task force receiving the ACPE’s Helen Flanders Dunbar Award. The ACPE Board of Representatives voted to bestow the Helen Flanders Dunbar Award to the Southwest Region’s Hispanic Latino(a) CPE Task Force for its pioneering work in helping to establish a program of clinical pastoral education at CHRISTUS Muguerza in Monterrey, Mexico, and for its work in helping to develop Hispanic Latino(a) CPE in the Southwest Region.

National Conference for Leaders of Small Groups Scheduled
