At the 75th International General Assembly of the Church of God, a new worship project from SpiritSound Music Group, was introduced, designed to flow directly with the theme of this year’s biennial gathering.

African American Leader Named to Head Multicultural Ministries

August 8, 2014–Fifty years ago, the Church of God took a stand against the ugly racial assaults on blacks—taking a strong stand with the Civil Rights movement that involved the elimination of racial prejudice in its fellowship and the advancement toward full unity and oneness in the church. In its International General Assembly, which concluded last week in Orlando, Florida, the church took another step that embarks on a multiracial paradigm with significant breakthroughs that involves the merger of the Black Ministries department with Multicultural Ministries.

General Assembly Headed to Nashville in 2016

For the first time, the Church of God International General Assembly will be held in Nashville, the capital of the state in which the church was founded in 1886.

Church of God Launches ‘Ministry Source’

During the Church of God International General Assembly, which met last week in Orlando, Fla., a new “online tool box” of ministry helps was unveiled by General Overseer Mark Williams. The new resource was developed through the supervision of the Office of Communications.
