World Missions Board Commits to Reach the Least, The Last, and The Lost

During April 8-9, 2014, the thirteen member Church of God World Missions Board and executive leadership convened a momentous board meeting in Cleveland, TN.  Joined interactively by missionaries from three continents via video technology, the meeting reaffirmed the “Missional Mandate” of Church of God World Missions, further adopting an unprecedented strategy that focuses first on Unreached People Groups (UPGs), and secondly on the enhancement of global ministerial development and education.

Operation Compassion Distributes Tile Worldwide

During the last 12 months, Operation Compassion has distributed a record 1.5 million square feet of tile through its partners. That is more than 200 semi-trucks loaded with tile! Our partners use the tile for walls, floors and exteriors. One million square feet of tile was distributed through ongoing international programs and 500,000 square feet was distributed through a one-time purchase for domestic use.

Brief Filed in Clergy Housing Exclusion Case

The Church Alliance—a coalition of the chief executive officers of 38 denominational benefit programs—has filed an amicus curiae brief in the Seventh Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals (Chicago) in the case challenging the constitutionality of the clergy housing exclusion under Section 107(2) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (Code).
