Voices of Lee Celebrates 15th Anniversary with Concert

Lee University’s Voices of Lee will celebrate its 15th Anniversary with a concert on September 19 at 7 p.m. in the Conn Center on the Cleveland, Tennessee campus.

Since its debut in September 1994, Voices of Lee has captivated audiences worldwide. Directed by Danny Murray, this sixteen-member group is characterized by its unique variety of lush vocal harmonies, high-energy patriotic numbers, a cappella jazz, as well as heartfelt favorite hymns.

Voices of Lee has appeared on “Good Morning America,” Bill Gaither’s video series, and the international “Sing Conference” for a cappella at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center. They have also performed in some of America’s most noted churches and toured Europe with concerts at the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris and England’s Ely Cathedral as well as Christmas at the White House.

Voices of Lee has released a variety of CDs, songbooks, and DVDs. Most recently, the group has released a Live Concert DVD with guest appearance by Lee Alum Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts.

The 15th Anniversary concert will feature Voices of Lee members from the past and the present and will include a collaboration of some one hundred “Voices” on stage. Tickets are $20 for reserved seating, $15 for general admission, and $10 for students.
